Nancy Brunning (Ngāti Raukawa / Ngāi Tūhoe) is company director of Hāpai productions and an award-winning actor, writer and director. She won Best Actress at the NZ Film Awards for her lead role in the film What Becomes of the Broken Hearted?, and Best Actress in Drama at the New Zealand Television Awards for her lead role in the television series Nga Tohu.
